The ICEF Higher Education Workshop
Meet quality higher education-focused student recruitment agents from all over the world
NH Eurobuilding, Madrid • September 13 - 15, 2009
The second annual ICEF Higher Education Workshop in 2008 grew in size by 68%, proving that there is a real need for a specialised networking event where accredited higher education institutions can meet quality student recruitment agents who are focused on sending students to universities.
The event enabled 64 educators from 23 countries to hold pre-scheduled, one-to-one business appointments with 78 high quality student recruitment agents from 36 countries. An integral factor in the success of the event is that agents undergo a rigorous pre-screening and must demonstrate experience and competence in sending students to higher education institutions.
In addition to the one-to-one business appointments with agents, educators also meet with each other in order to discuss exchange programmes, twinning arrangements and joint ventures. The 37 educator / educator meetings that took place at the 2008 event highlight the trend of educational institutions taking steps to establish global partners.
Attendees also benefit from a half day of market intelligence seminars where industry leaders share valuable insights on the latest trends affecting international higher education.
Once again this event will take place just prior to, and in the same city as, the Annual Conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) where almost 3000 education professionals meet to discuss and share ideas on the internationalisation of higher education in Europe and around the world.
