NOTE: FAMIL tour proposal submissions for 2012 will (strictly) close on November 10, 2011.
NOTE: Only organisations that purchase a meeting table or booth at The Australia New Zealand Agent Workshop are invited to host agent visits.
Agents consistently tell us that location is the most important driver of study and travel choices, even more important than cost. The ANZA Workshop gives regional associations and individual organisations the opportunity to host agent familiarisation (FAMIL) tours.
Invite agents to get to know your organisation, products and region. FAMIL tours enable agents to increase their product knowledge and bring back first hand experiences to pass on to their colleagues and clients.
"We send a very small percentage of students to those partner schools we haven't visited. We usually only send them students when that client specifically asks to go there. It is our way of being faithful to those partner schools that have invested time and resources in our company (via fam trips etc)."
Rob Woodward, MD of New Zealand Global / Global Culture
"I visited the University of Tasmania and other institutions as part of an agent FAM tour to Tasmania following The ANZA Workshop. Prior to this visit I knew very little about Tasmania, and had not considered or promoted it as a major study destination to my clients. Since my visit I have signed an agreement with the University of Tasmania and successfully enrolled 6 students."
Ahmed Naraghi, Managing Director, Iran-Australia Cultural & Arts Institution
